Chamomile is the star of this recipe for supporting a dry and irritated scalp.
(If you have oily hair, swap it for Lavender or Peppermint.)
Rosemary cleanses and stimulates the scalp.
Nettles and Horsetail nourish and strengthen your locks.
Even just one round of using this fair rinse really helped my own scalp from feeling dry and itchy!
M A K E
3 tsp Chamomile
1 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Nettle
1 tsp Horsetail
Boil 16 oz of water and pour over herbs
Steep for 4-8 hours
U S E
Use tea fresh at room temperature or bring to room temperature from fridge
Shampoo and condition hair as normal
Pour tea over hair, being sure to reach all angles of your head
Rinse with water
Store reserves in fridge
Use within 3 days
Alternatively, you can steep these plants in apple cider vinegar (ACV) for 4 weeks. Strain and dilute the vinegar with water. The result will be shelf stable and help PH balance your scalp.
*Glass jars are not recommended in the shower. Canning jar used for photo taking purposes.
